Chitragandh's Inaugural Quarterly Film Screening Celebrates Emerging Voices in Cinema

Chitragandh, the cinema vertical of Thane Art Guild, hosted its inaugural quarterly screening this year, presenting a curated selection of five short films and one documentary to an engaged audience in Thane.

The documentary Pappa Sanga Konache (पप्पा सांगा कोणाचे), directed by Dr. Santosh Pathare, received special appreciation from viewers for its storytelling and cinematic craft.

Among the five short films screened, two were directed and produced by members of the TAG community: Shevatchi Ganesh Murti (शेवटची गणेश मूर्ती) by Santosh Verulkar and Veen (वीण) by Shambhavi Borkar. Both films reflected the depth of creative talent within the Guild and were well received by the audience.

This first screening of the year set the tone for Chitragandh's ongoing vision: celebrating diverse voices in independent cinema and providing a credible platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their work.
